Dear Donna and family. Just a wee note to say thank you so much for a wonderful stay at the cottage. We've had a great time and all the little extras have made travelling with the little ones so much easier!

An extra thank you from Olivia who has loved having all the extra space to run around as well as a turn on the trampoline!

Hope to see you again.

Thank you Donna & Roddy.

We have had a most enjoyable week. We have had some great weather which made for some good days out. As usual the accommodation was first class, it is such a comfortable home from home. Love the idea of the hot tub, did not have a chance to use it this year but hopefully next year. My mother (Jean) has enjoyed her week here after last year been in hospital. Ken too has enjoyed the holiday. Once again thank you for making our week very enjoyable with the outstanding accommodation that you provide. Hope to see you all again next year.

Dear Donna,

We have had a lovely week on Deeside in your most comfortable cottage. Sorry we didn't get to meet you and your family but maybe next time!

Many thanks

A most comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Quiet and tranquil! Oystercatchers and Red Kites were interrupted by the Rooks who were constantly on patrol.

The hot tub was a great success but had to be enjoyed under a large umbrella when the rain & hail intervened.

We'd love to come back.

So what about the new hot tub? Could we be bothered leaving the cosy cottage to strip off our kit and face the icy wind and sliding Spring temperatures? Bothered? of course we could and it was wonderful!

At the end of the day what could be more relaxing than sitting under the stars watching the distant glow of Aberdeen providing it's own northern lights. Directly above us we gazed at the constellations without consternation as satellites, space stations and shooting stars traced their path across the affirmment. Our silent soundtrack was accentuated by the soothing gurgle of the water and the distant calls of Oystercatchers and Tawny owls.

Donna & Roddy have added another dimension to Drumhead Cottage and we will be keen to beat a return to this great holiday venue.

Other highlights from our trip include Sunday lunch at Kildrummy Hotel, horse riding on the Glen Tanner estate, climbing Clachnaben, Lochnigar resplendent in it's snowy winter garb and lunch in the 'hornblower' in Gourdon - not to mention the myriad of local walks.

We have had a great holiday and feel recharged, relaxed and fit to face the fray! Thanks

Had a wonderful week so glad we found you on the internet. Thank you for the lovely welcome & gifts. That extra mile means a lot! Beautiful, comfortable home from home, truly enjoyable.

Here fishing for the week - thought, only fish every other day - enjoyed being here for the day with a walk to the Finzean Farm Shop for food for tea & breakfast - magic!

Ate at Mamma Mia's, Douglas & Tor-na-coille all good though Tor-na-coille not as good 2nd visit! But worth a try. Found a lovely Italian in Aberdeen Ciao Napoli - worth a visit.

Visit Banchory / Fishing fairly frequently & look forward to another enjoyable stay here in the future.

Thank you
